Description:
This VASS workshop will help teachers and administrators broaden their understanding of how performance assessments (PA) and tasks can be developed as part of a balanced assessment system. During the workshop, Jay McTighe and Chris Gareis examine the qualities of effective PA as well as explore their potential to enhance instruction, provide deeper learning, and assess the outcomes outlined in the Profile of a Virginia Graduate.
- The workshop fee is $210 for each participant.
- Registration fees include breakfast and lunch.
- Free parking and internet are also provided.
