Learning Objectives: After taking this course, a participant will be able to:
- Describe the importance of self-determination in transition.
- Discuss positive behavior support.
- Describe the features of an effective transition education plan.
- Describe ways to promote life skills and social skills.
- Explain ways to provide support to parents.
- Discuss the importance of collaborating with adult services.
- Describe strategies that result in competitive integrated employment.
- Describe considerations for choosing a post-secondary education setting.
- Tuition: $300.05
- Course Credit: A participant can earn 4.5 CEUs or 45 CRCs upon course completion. Also, a certificate of completion will be issued to a participant who completes all course assignments.
