Description:

Learning Objectives: After taking this course, a participant will be able to:

  • Describe the importance of self-determination in transition.
  • Discuss positive behavior support.
  • Describe the features of an effective transition education plan.
  • Describe ways to promote life skills and social skills.
  • Explain ways to provide support to parents.
  • Discuss the importance of collaborating with adult services.
  • Describe strategies that result in competitive integrated employment.
  • Describe considerations for choosing a post-secondary education setting.

  • Tuition: $300.05
  • Course Credit: A participant can earn 4.5 CEUs or 45 CRCs upon course completion. Also, a certificate of completion will be issued to a participant who completes all course assignments.
