Learning Objectives: After taking the course a participant will be able to:

  • Discuss research findings related to job development and individuals with disabilities.
  • Evaluate skills, formulate and implement an action plan that will lead to personal improvement and growth.
  • Identify typical employer concerns associated with hiring individuals with disabilities and indicate how you would address them.
  • Formulate questions to ask an employer to learn more about the organization and its needs.
  • Formulate a description of a jobseeker to share with a potential employer.
  • Evaluate your job development tool kit.
  • Describe ways to broaden your business connections.
  • Describe strategies to research a business.
  • Discuss ways to make a positive first impression.
  • Tuition:

    Individual rate: $125 per person
    Group rate: $500 for 5 registrants

  • Course Credit: A participant can earn 1.6 CEUs or 16 CRCs upon course completion. Also, a certificate of completion will be issued to a participant who completes all course assignments.
