Webinar: Supported Decision-Making in Special Education - Start Early! (PEATC)

This is a completed event.

Description:

Jonathan Martinis, Esq. to talk about the role of supported decision-making in special education. Supported decision-making helps students with disabilities become more independent and make their own choices and decisions, with the help they need from trusted advisors, like family members. It’s an important option to consider when your child turns 18 but still needs supports to make important decisions about their future. But it also applies when your child is much younger. Join us as Mr. Martinis talks about what supported decision-making is, why it’s important, and how it can have a positive impact on your child’s present and future.
