About our Presenter: Formed Families Forward is pleased to host Kathy L. Dial, PhD., MSW, the CEO and founder of Kin and Kids Consulting, LLC. She has over 25 years of social work experience in direct practice, grant writing, training, program/policy development and implementation. She is an expert in gerontology, kinship care (grandparents raising grandchildren and relative caregivers), and child welfare services. Dr. Dial received her PhD in Social Work from Norfolk State University. She has completed graduate hours in Community Health Education and has a Faculty Development Certificate in Geriatrics from the Virginia Center of Geriatrics. She is certified trainer for Program Leaders for the Rosalyn Carter Institute’s Caring for You, Caring for Me program and a certified interventionist for their REACH (Resources for Enhancing Alzheimer’s Caregiver Health) program.
