Description:

Creating Connections to Shining Stars (CCSS) is a collaborative effort between many state agencies and early childhood programs in Virginia. The conference will focus on promoting and supporting the implementation of evidence-based practices in inclusive settings for young children, both with and without disabilities.  

Who Should Attend?
Early Intervention Providers, Early Childhood Educators, Related Service Providers, Early Childhood Special Educators, Childcare Providers, Administrators/Supervisors, Paraprofessionals, Parents and Family Members

Keynote Speaker: 

Dr. Kate Gallagher is the opening keynoter. Dr. Gallagher is the Cille and Ron Williams Community Chair for Early Childhood Education at the University of Nebraska at Kearney and the Buffett Early Childhood Institute.   Her keynote address is entitled,  Supporting the Whole Child and Family Intervention: What it Means and What it Takes. She will present a workshop session, Bringing 'Serve and Return' into Assessment, Planning, and Intervention.   • Preconference Only - $75

Conference Days 2 and 3 Only - $150.

Regular registration fees are $225 for the full conference, $100 for the preconference day, and $175 for days 2 and 3.
