How do we plan for, deliver, and evaluate specially-designed instruction to improve outcomes for our students in the co-taught classroom?

Keynote Speaker: Lisa Dieker


Lisa Dieker, a lead researcher in the field of collaboration between general and special educators, will share her expertise about consistent, yet flexible structures to support specialized instruction. This includes interdisciplinary collaboration, universal design for learning, the adoption of technology, and active learning as collaborative teams work to provide targeted instruction. Breakout session topics will include evidence-based practices for reading and math instruction, using Pearson data, tiered instruction, using PALS data to design instruction, the role of the special educator, and keys to leadership with co-teaching.
