This is a completed event.

Description:

Feedback from educators participating in past trainings indicate that many have learned about assessment and goal writing related to promoting listening and spoken language skills, but want more ideas on how to help students reach their goals.  Presenters will share insights gained from working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing of all ages and using various communication methodologies across Virginia, and will provide strategies and activities that you can use to help children achieve targeted skills. Special focus will be on use of materials available to you through the TTAC Lending Libraries. This will be a training with lots of interaction; participants will leave with ideas they can use on Monday!  Registration will be limited to 40; deadline for registering is September 19, 2017.
