The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE), in partnership with James Madison University (JMU), will offer several academies at JMU’s annual summer Content Teaching Academy (CTA).
This Academy is designed for elementary school teams of general education and special education teachers who teach reading and mathematics together to enhance all student outcomes, especially students with disabilities in the general education classroom. This four-day virtual Academy will be held on June 21, 2021, from 8:15 a.m. to noon and June 22-24, 2021, from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
