Not all students have the same needs when transitioning to college.  Join guest speaker Korey Singleton, George Mason’s Assistive Technology Initiative Manager, as he shares the essential support resources and assistive technology services available to students with visual impairments in postsecondary education. Topics will include: important questions to ask when “college shopping”, disability support and assistive technology services in higher education, common accommodations for students with visual impairments, as well as key areas of consideration (i.e., library services, advocacy, STEM, etc.).
