AIM-VA Webinar- From the Perspective of a Student with low-vision

This is a completed event.

Description:

Veronica Lewis is a George Mason University student and Assistive Technology blogger that claims she has four eyes (also known as low vision).  Throughout high school Veronica was unable to read standard printed materials and instead used various assistive technology devices as well as accessible instructional materials from AIM-VA to read.  Invite your students with VI and join Veronica for a perspective from a student that’s “been there” as she discusses how to access materials in high school as well as what it’s like being the only student with low vision in an educational environment that relies on sight.
