NVAEYC Workshop Series- Behavior Challenges -What Causes Them

Description:

Behavior Challenges look different depending on the cause of the behavior. Children with challenging behavior experience difficulties throughout their day and miss opportunities to socialize with their peers as well as be available for learning. This workshop series will look at areas that contribute to challenging and difficult behaviors in the classroom and provide specific strategies to help change these behaviors.

Workshop #1  Providing A Sensory Centered “in Sync” Classroom is September 23, 2017 from 9am- 11am 

Workshop #2 Executive Functioning Challenges and Associated Behaviors is November 4, 2017 from 9am-11am  

Workshop #3 Aspergers Syndrome: High Functioning Autism is January 27, 2018 from 9am-11am

Workshop #4: Calming and Self-Managing Strategies is April 14, 2018 from 9am-11am
