Individuals with disabilities want to be in relationships, but often struggle with just how to meet people. One of the ways they can meet people is through dating apps. This webinar will share information that parents need to know about dating apps, including a demo of an actual dating app. We will talk about skills that are needed to navigate these apps safely and how to avoid scams as well.

Teaching Consent, June 13th, 6:00 pm
The rates of sexual abuse among people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) are staggering. During this webinar we will look at reasons why people with IDD are at risk for sexual violence and share tips and strategies for teaching giving and getting consent.
