The International Classification of Functioning, Disability, and Health (ICF) framework provides a means of examining a child’s ability to participate in daily routines and activities. A primary focus of the ICF is the environmental factor, which includes physical, social, and attitudinal environmental components. Specifically considering the environmental factors of the ICF affords practitioners with a framework for considering all possible facets of a child and his/her life that may be limiting full participation.

Participants in the Learning Deck will:
- Describe each component of the ICF with specific consideration of the physical, social, and attitudinal components of the environmental factor.
- Explore the environmental factors that can be facilitators and barriers to participation.
- Identify environmental modifications that can be used to facilitate child
