Presenter:  Dr. Lotfi Merabet is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology, Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA, and Director of The Laboratory for Visual Neuroplasticity, Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Boston, MA.  An optometrist and neuroscientist investigating how the brain adapts to the loss of sight, Dr. Merabet’s work is supported by the National Institutes of Health (NIH).  He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors and Trustees for the Carroll Center for the Blind and the National Braille Press.
