Northern Virginia’s 2016-2017 Early Care and Education (ECE) Learning Collaboratives Project: Childhood Obesity Prevention (Region 4)

Description:

We are looking for programs interested in participating in Northern Virginia’s 2016-2017 Early Care and Education (ECE) Learning Collaboratives project.  This exciting project brings together directors, educators, and care providers to learn about and discuss the most effective ways early care and education settings can prevent childhood obesity.  Programs selected to participate will send a leadership team to five learning sessions, every 6-8 weeks.  Leadership teams will share the information they learn with their program staff and develop strategies to create healthier environments for children.

Child care centers, preschools, and Head Start/Early Head Start programs located in the following communities:

Alexandria City, Arlington County, Fairfax County, Loudoun County, Fauquier County
