This curriculum teaches social interaction skills to children with and without disabilities and provides the classroom teacher with a variety of strategies to increase the social interaction and social competence of children enrolled in the class.

Play Time/Social Time can be used to teach specific social interaction skills to preschool children, both those who have developmental delays or disabilities and those who are developing normally. Social interaction skills are these social behaviors that children use to begin or maintain social interaction skills.
