People with Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities are often left out of the conversations about human sexuality. It is important for everyone to have sex education & self-advocacy skills to make healthy choices, prevent abuse & see themselves as sexual beings.
Talking with your young & grown children about sex can be a challenging task. Parents, guardians & caregivers often worry whether talking about sex gives permission & whether they can be safe from harm when in a relationship.
We can help you to become more informed & comfortable having conversations about relationships & sex by addressing barriers, sharing resources & strategies with you.
