Traumatic experiences not only impact young children emotionally but they also impact their ability to learn. Early intervention can assist in reducing the impact and in many cases help children recover from traumatic experiences. Early childhood educators can play a vital role in their recovery. This webinar will offer some facts related to the impact of early childhood trauma on a young child’s brain development as well as guidance and strategies for supporting young children thus helping to prevent or minimize trauma.
