Workshop #4: Calming & Self-Managing Strategies (Region 4)

This is a completed event.

Description:

Even young children can experience stress and anxiety. Inappropriate behaviors and meltdowns can be the result of this stress. All children will benefit from learning self-calming skills, but for some children, learning this skill is so essential to their success at school that it's important for teachers to focus on it as well. Learn how to help a child identify with their emotions and access calming strategies before they become “out of control”.
