Spring 2019 Captioning Kickoff Day for Virginia Higher Ed Institutions, Public School Systems, and Executive Branch Agencies

George Mason University has negotiated post-production captioning contracts with three vendors. These contracts have been in place since last September and are renewable on a yearly basis for five years. What’s exciting about these contracts, is that as minutes are used they accumulate across all users of the product and in turn bring the price per minute down as these minutes-used mount up! These contracts are available to all higher education institutions, K-12 districts, and all agencies under the Executive Office of the Governor.
To provide information on the contracts in place, how they work and what each vendor offers, a morning of information has been organized to provide you with the information needed to get started.
