Join us as Dr. Cynthia Ingraham provides information about strategies and resources that will help you support individuals with deaf-blindness in preparing for post-secondary life, including education, training, and fulfilling employment.

Presenter: Dr. Cynthia L. Ingraham serves as HKNC’s representative for the East Central Region, encompassing Virginia, West Virginia, District of Columbia, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Delaware. She has authored numerous monograph chapters on transition concerns for youth with sensory disabilities and more than two dozen articles on the education and rehabilitation preferences of people with physical and sensory disabilities.  

Target Audience: Teachers, related service providers, job coaches, transition specialists and all currently or preparing to work with students with Deaf-Blindness, and family members of students with dual sensory impairment.

Participants who complete the follow-up survey will receive a Certificate of Attendance for 1 hour.
