Description:

Register for Portrait of a Graduate -

Presented by Jon Alfuth, Senior Director, State Policy, KnowledgeWorks.org; Dr. Kipp D. Rogers, Chief Academic Officer, Virginia Beach City Public Schools; and Doris Zahner, Ph.D., Chief Academic Officer, CAE

More and more states and districts are developing a Portrait of a Graduate in an effort to ensure all students gain the skills and mindsets needed to thrive in our complex, rapidly changing world. These Portraits provide a vision for educators, students, and the community, but in order for young people to fully achieve that vision the desired competencies must be measured and taught.

Tune in to this edWebinar as education leaders and assessment experts discuss:

  • Common challenges and solutions to move from vision to practice
  • Using innovative assessment to improve outcomes
  • Lessons learned from a Virginia district’s journey

Whether you currently have a Portrait of a Graduate or are just starting to develop one, this edWebinar will provide valuable insights that will help the aspirations of your Portrait become reality for your students.

This edWebinar will be of interest to K-12 teachers, school counselors, and school and district leaders. There will be time for questions at the end of the presentation.
