The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE), in partnership with James Madison University (JMU), will offer several academies at JMU’s annual summer Content Teaching Academy (CTA).
In this Academy, participants will learn about the unique complexities of working with students with special needs and explore a variety of innovative hands-on instructional strategies through engaging collaborative learning activities. The Academy will be held June 21-24, 2021, from 8:30 a.m. to noon daily.
