Sexual Health and Wellness Virtual Sessions for Virginia Youth with Disabilities (PEATC)

Description:

This is a 7-part series designed specifically for Virginia youth with disabilities ages 14-22.

These trainings are designed to increase an individual's capacity for self-advocacy and decision-making. Throughout the series, we will cover important topics including: setting and respecting boundaries, self-esteem and self-acceptance, pregnancy & STI prevention, abuse prevention, and human anatomy.

Sessions Dates:

  • 2/2 – Puberty
  • 2/16 – Private and Public
  • 3/2 – Social Media and Literacy
  • 3/16 - Human Reproduction
  • 3/30 – Pregnancy
  • 4/6 – Romantic Relationships
  • 4/20 - Safe and Healthy Boundaries
Time for each Session: 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
THESE SESSIONS WILL BE PRESENTED ON ZOOM.
Individuals under age 18 or under guardianship must be registered by parent or guardian.
