Learn: Classroom practices which generally occur before and after implementing scientifically-based literacy instruction will be articulated, to provide clarity of key instructional components and look-fors as classroom practices transform during implementation of the VLA. The “why” of these changes will be demystified and explained through connections to research. Based on this understanding, teams are invited to identify their own division/classroom literacy practices in a “Start, Stop and Continue” protocol.
