This is a completed event.

Description:

The ADOS-2 has become the standard instrument for assessing autism spectrum disorders (ASD) across age, developmental level, and language skills. Virginia Treatment Center for Children offers training on the administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, 2nd Edition (ADOS-2) to help assess and diagnose ASD. These trainings are appropriate for psychologists, pediatricians, behavioral specialists, speech language pathologists, and any related professionals who regularly assess children with ASD or developmental disabilities.

Through instruction, discussion, and live/video demonstrations, attendees will:

  • Learn how to administer the ADOS-2 Diagnostic Tools
  • Learn how to incorporate information gathered through ADOS-2 administration into a comprehensive ASD assessment.
  • Learn how to apply results to interventions and IEPs
