SAMHSA’s Bringing Recovery Supports to Scale Technical Assistance Center Strategy (BRSS TACS) invites you to join a training webinar designed to assist community organizations* in building long-term capacity to meet the needs of the people they support before, during, and after a disaster.

Presenters will guide the audience through disaster preparedness training using a suite of training materials developed by BRSS TACS. They will emphasize the role of organizations at each stage of disaster preparedness. The presentation will cover steps that organizational leadership can take to improve resilience and ensure the continuity of their work for the communities they serve. Following the webinar, participants will be able to review organizational disaster preparedness training materials and templates and consider how to utilize these resources in their own work.

Join this free virtual webinar, moderated by BRSS TACS Project Director Valerie Gold and presented by Juan Vélez Court and Conni Wells.

One week following the webinar, on July 16, 2019 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. (ET) the presenters will host a Q&A session for organizations who have completed at least one of the forms included in the suite of resources and materials.
