2025 International Early Childhood Inclusion Institute (UNC-Frank Porter Graham)

Description:

The 2025 International Early Childhood Inclusion Institute will be held Tuesday, May 13 through Thursday, May 15, 2025 at the Friday Conference Center, Chapel Hill, NC. Celebrating 25 years this year, the Inclusion Institute is a premier educational experience focused on evidence-informed inclusive practices. The theme is Honoring Our 25 Year History: Reflecting, Celebrating, and Advancing. The keynote speaker is Jordyn Zimmerman, an educator and disability advocate. She uses her personal experience as an autistic individual, who gained access to augmentative communication at 18, to challenge the status quo and promote inclusive learning. The Institute has drawn people from across the nation and around the world to Chapel Hill to:

  • Develop collaborative relationships and cross-agency systems that support early childhood inclusion
  • Discover evidence-based practices, resources, and tools for promoting opportunities for inclusion
  • Meet, learn from, and problem-solve with peers

A selection of sessions for virtual attendees will also be offered via Zoom.

There are two options for attending the full Inclusion Institute in 2025:

1. Inclusion Institute in-person attendee: Attending live sessions in-person in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA at the Friday Center (beginning on May 13 at 1 pm US Eastern Time and ending May 15 at 12:30 pm US EST.) Cost: US$540/attendee

Registration Includes:  

  • Access to keynote, plenary sessions, all concurrent, reflection sessions, and exhibition booths as well as archived hybrid/virtual sessions
  • Lunch, coffee/tea, and snacks on all 3 days!
  • Continental breakfast on May 14 and May 15

Note that in-person attendees are responsible for all related expenses such as air travel, ground transportation, other meals, and lodging.

2. Inclusion Institute virtual attendee: Attending sessions virtually via Zoom from anywhere in the world?(beginning on May 13 at 1 pm US Eastern time and ending May 15 at 12:30 pm US EST.) Cost: US$250/attendee

Registration Includes:  

  • Access to keynote, plenary sessions, a selection of hybrid concurrent session offerings, reflection sessions, as well as archived hybrid/virtual sessions

Pre-Conference Offerings

In-person Registration Includes:  

  • Access to ONE in-person pre-conference session
  • Continental breakfast, morning coffee/tea and snack, and lunch on May 13, 2025
  • Cost: $100/attendee

Virtual Registration Includes:  

  • Access to ONE virtual pre-conference session
  • Cost: $85/attendee
