Description:
Register for Understanding Special Education - This workshop will help participants learn the steps of the special education process. Attendees will gain a basic understanding of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act’s (IDEA) 2004 language on high expectations and become more familiar with their role as parents in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Participants will also have the opportunity to learn some practical strategies for participating effectively in IEP meetings.
This virtual webinar will be presented on Zoom. It will not be recorded.
