2024 Annual New to Schools Event (Speech Language Hearing Association of Virginia, SHAV)

Register for New to Schools Aug. 22nd - The Speech Language Hearing Association of Virginia (SHAV) is hosting a New to Schools event on August 22nd, 2024 from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The event is free to all SLPs new to the school setting, including new graduates, those transferring from medical or clinical settings, and those from other states. SLPS, which are direct hires from LEAs and those contracted to provide services, are invited to participate. (Attendees are not required to be SHAV members.)
Content: Medicaid, Evaluations, Eligibility, Requirements, Service Delivery, Documentation, Resources and Guidance, and so much more!
Follow-Up Events: There will be virtual follow-up events in December and May and an in-person meet-up at the SHAV conference in March.
