Language Elaboration Routine (HLP 14) (VDOE TTAC at GMU)

Description:

Use this tool along with reading passages to expand in the oral expression of reading comprehension. The purpose of this tool is to expand student’s expressive language skills. Language is one half of the simple view of reading. Use this to scaffold student’s use of language during and after text reading, through modeling and guided practice. Developing oral language supports the development of reading comprehension.
