Functional Behavior Assessment - Behavior Intervention Plan (FBA-BIP) - Training sessions will focus specifically on the process and tools needed to assist coaches, facilitators and problem-solving teams in planning, implementing, and evaluating FBA-BIP to support students with challenging behavior.

  • Participants will be able to:
  • Identify when an FBA-BIP is necessary
  • Identify the essential systems needed for an effective FBA-BIP process
  • Identify the steps for conducting an effective FBA, including data to determine maintaining function of behavior
  • Understand the critical components of function-based BIPs
  • Develop evaluation plans that are efficient and effective
