Register for the Youth Training - How to Communicate as a Self-AdvocateSpeaking up for yourself is an important part of being a self-advocate. Join us for this live Zoom training to learn easy and effective ways to share your thoughts, needs, and goals. We’ll talk about how to communicate with adults and professionals — like teachers, Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) counselors, and Independent Living program staff — and how to ask questions, speak up with confidence, and handle real-life conversations. You’ll leave with practical tools you can use right away to advocate for yourself at school, work, and in the community.

This training is for students with disabilities (ages 12-22).
