More Information & Registration for 2024 DCDT Conference - The Virginia Division on Career Development and Transition is pleased to announce the 2024 annual conference. The year the conference will be held at the beautiful Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center in Roanoke, Virgina on March 11 -12, 2024. Participants will engage in a variety of professional development activities related to Raising the Standards for the transition to post-secondary opportunities in Virginia.

The Virginia Division on Career Development and Transition in conjunction with Virginia Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services and Virginia Department of Education will cohost a pre-conference prior to the Raising the Standards Conference. The pre-conference will begin at 8:00 for check-in with a continental breakfast being served and a working lunch. There is not an additional cost to attend the pre-conference.

The topics to be discussed during the pre-conference include:

  • NTACT-C Schools and VR Effective Strategies for collaborative service delivery of Pre-ETS
  • Transition Self-Assessment Tool Results, Next Steps, and Suggestions for Collaborative Planning]
  • TTAC Planning and Coordinating Transition Services and Activities
  • VDOE’s State Transition Plan
  • Interagency Collaborative Programs and Local Examples
  • Action Planning, Summer Cross Training, Local Cross Training, National DCDT Conference

Registration fee is $155 + fee.
