This webshop shares lesson plans adapted by real co-teachers of Virginia. Most began with an Enhanced Scope and Sequence (ESS) Sample Lesson Plan designed to be taught by one teacher, then offer suggestions as to how co-teachers can effectively utilize the expertise of each to enhance that lesson in a co-taught classroom. ESS Sample Lesson Plans were created by a select group of Virginia teachers to align instruction with the expectations of the Virginia SOL and were vetted by VDOE content specialists. (See the links below and in Webshop 10: Co-Teaching Resources). While Virginia teachers are to use lesson plan formats that are required by their school division, the template for the posted lesson plans is provided.

Science Instructional Plans (SIPs) The Science Instructional Plans are uploaded periodically into #GoOpenVA and can easily be accessed through the Science VDOE group. Find lesson plans for each grade level and discipline that were created to engage students as they build science conceptual understanding using the 2018 Science Standards of Learning
