Evidence Based Practice in Disability Evaluations- ASHA 0.6 CEU Self- Study Course (LEADERSproject)

Description:

Developed by Dr. Catherine Crowley, this self study course for speech-language pathologists was developed after identifying gaps between current clinical approaches to disability evaluations and evidence-based practice as well as the federal law. The course focuses on clinician skill-building of evidence-based approaches to elicit and analyze language samples through videos of children/students using the School-age Language Assessment Measures (SLAM), both in person and via telepractice.

To brush up on grammar and syntax, you may want to take the free online courses Grammar Fundamentals for a Pluralistic Society and Advanced Grammar Fundamentals for a Pluralistic Society courses also available at no cost before taking this newest course. Completion of these courses will provide a report to ASHA for those SLPs signed up for the ASHA CE Registry.
