Cortical Visual Impairment (CVI) is the leading cause of childhood visual impairment in the United States. Children with CVI present with unique visual behavioral characteristics, across a range of visual functioning and adaptive needs. This webinar will focus on the unique impact of CVI through an exploration of Characteristics and Phases, and an overview of approaches to student-centered intervention focusing on the needs of families. The workshop will be led by Chris Russell, the coordinator of the Deaf-Blind Project of New York.

This free webinar (on Zoom) is open to families of children with visual impairments in Virginia.
