  2. This website has been created to be a resource for professionals and family members of children and youth with disabilities (birth to 22). The website offers a wide range of Resources, Events (trainings, conferences, and webinars/webcasts) and Online Training opportunities in the form of Webshops and www.Workshops.
  3. For the majority of the site, no password or account is needed. If you want to participate in the Online Training Webshops or eWorkshops or access your My TTAC Online or receive the Fast Facts e-newsletter, you will need to create a free account with a username and a password.
  4. The website offers a wide range of Resources, Events (state and national trainings and conferences as well as online webinars and webcasts) and Online Training opportunities in the form of Webshops and eWorkshops.
  5. There is a lot of information (VA Projects, Disability Info, Resources, Events and Online Training) throughout this site that might be helpful to you. The Virginia Family Special Education Connection website (http://vafamilysped.org) also has a wealth of resources for parents and families.
  6. The Webshops and eWorkshops cover a wide range of topics, such as: Assistive Technology, Curriculum & Instruction, and Transition.
  7. A Webshop is a 5 to 30 minute presentation designed to teach you about a topic or strategy. A Webshop can be in a video format.
  8. A eWorkshop is a collection of Webshops on a particular topic. Typically, an eWorkshop takes 45 minutes to 2 hours to complete.
  9. When you have completed a Webshop or a eWorkshop, you must complete an evaluation in order to receive a certificate of completion. This certificate can be printed out immediately to share with your administrator and it will be stored in your My TTAC Online.

Each regional TTAC has a lending library with books, software, videos, assessment materials, assistive technology devices, journals, kits, textbooks, and reference materials covering disabilities and special education-related topics that can be loaned out to teachers and other professionals for use in their school.
