Webinar: Introduction to the Virginia Tiered Systems of Supports (VTSS) Webinar

This is a completed event.

Description:

The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) would like to extend an invitation for all school divisions to participate in the Introduction to the Virginia Tiered Systems of Supports (VTSS) webinar.  The webinar will provide an overview of the VTSS and will include a description of the problem solving model, tiered interventions, data-based decision-making, evidence-based practices and system-based thinking.

This introductory webinar is the first session of the VTSS Readiness Series.  The series will offer quarterly webinars to guide school divisions through the early implementation stages of the VTSS.  Upon completion of the VTSS Readiness Series, school divisions will be well prepared to apply to participate in the next VTSS Cohort (Spring 2017).  Divisions participating in VTSS cohorts receive training and on-site coaching from VDOE.  The VTSS Cohort application priority points will be awarded to divisions successfully completing the Readiness Series.
