Registered Behavior Technician Training Academy

This is a completed event.

Description:

The Behavior Analyst Certification Board (TM) has established standards for entry level staff who are responsible for working directly with students/clients called Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). In June of 2014, Commonwealth Autism began providing a 40-hour training program for individuals interested in pursuing this new credential.  We have successfully completed this training for a variety of service personnel including public school staff and adult service providers across the state of Virginia.

Commonwealth Autism is offering a RBT Training Academy in Richmond. Our training is the only one in the area that provides an in-person experience for those pursuing this new credential. Training participants have the opportunity to practice skills and receive feedback directly from experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts.  Space is extremely limited.  Check out the registration details below!

Participants must attend all days.

Fee includes all six days of training plus training materials. All meals are on your own, however participants are welcome to bring their lunch. $450.00 if registration is received by 5:00pm on Friday April 8th, 2016. $475.00 if registration is received after 5:00pm on Friday April 8th, 2016.

This training program is based on the Registered Behavior Technician Task List and is designed to meet the 40-hour training requirement for the RBT credential. The program is offered independ of the VACB
