Online Course: Supported Employment for Individuals with Traumatic Brain Injury (Virginia Commonwealth University)

Description:

Learning Objectives: After taking this course, a participant will be able to:

  • Describe individualized supported employment services.
  • Describe some cognitive, physical, and other challenges a person may face after a TBI.
  • Describe the advantages of using a functional approach to get to know a job seeker.
  • Discuss some strategies for developing a job.
  • Describe a variety of workplace supports.
  • Discuss ways to enhance job retention.
  • Tuition:

    Individual rate: $125 per person
    Group rate: $500 for 5 registrants

  • Course Credit: A participant can earn 1.6 CEUs or 16 CRCs upon course completion. Also, a certificate of completion will be issued to a participant who completes all course assignments.
