Description:

This 6-hour workshop provides an overview of the Responsive Classroom approach. You’ll begin to see how Responsive Classroom practices can help to foster trust and respect in the classroom; integrate the teaching of academic and social skills; and set clear, meaningful boundaries for student behavior.  In this workshop, you’ll gain an understanding of the general principles of the Responsive Classroom approach and have the opportunity to see into a few classrooms implementing the approach.  You will also walk away with some very specific strategies you can implement immediately in your classroom.
