Description:
The 2023 Parent and Youth Empowerment (PYE) Summit is on Saturday, September 9, 2023, for Virginia youth with disabilities (ages 12-22) and their parents!
Accepted participants will be empowered to understand and advocate for their child’s secondary school learning and post-secondary outcomes, while the youth increase their knowledge to be effective self-advocates.
Parents will learn from topic experts while youth (ages 12-22) enjoy self-advocacy-related activities, led by youth-centered experts.
Priority will be given to those who have not previously attended PYE!
- Registration for first-time attendees begins July 13, 2023
- Registration for returning attendees begins July 28, 2023
