Description:
Register for Apr. 1-22 - PEATC in partnership with the Virginia Department of Education is pleased to offer SEAC trainings aimed at helping SEAC members understand the role of the local Special Education Advisory Committee in Virginia and to build a more efficient and effective advisory committee.
This training will include information on:
- SEAC in Virginia SPED Regulations
- SEAC Roles and Responsibilities
- Building Your Local SEAC
- Organization Tips for SEACs
- How to be an Effective Advisory Committee
The self-paced course begins April 1, 2024 and will be open through April 22, 2024.
The training will take approximately 6 hours and can be accessed anytime during the 3 week timeframe.
These trainings are also open to parents and professionals who are interested in learning about local SEACs in Virginia.
