The Office of Student Services is facilitating a series of School-Based Mental Health (SBMH) Leadership Summit for school division leaders. The purpose of this series is to advance knowledge and skills related to school mental health and to provide resources that will assist leaders in supporting school counselors, school psychologists, and school social workers in Virginia Public Schools.
Session Two – November 4, 2021, 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. This session will focus on increasing the understanding of a unified mental health team’s essential components and how to build capacity within your division to meet the mental health needs of our students.
Future Summit sessions will be held: January 13, 2021 10-12:30; and April 21, 2021 10-12:30.
