It’s important to begin planning for life after high school.
Join us as the disAbility Law Center of Virginia shares about the services that VR can offer to high school students with disabilities as they transition out of high school and into the community.
Presenter:
Rachel Loria is a Disability Rights Advocate at the disAbility Law Center of Virginia, where she has been working for nearly 6 years. She focuses on Vocational Rehabilitation services for adults and high school students within the school system and the Department of Juvenile Justice. She also focuses on advocating for assistive technology in the school system and in the workplace.
Rachel is also a self advocate, and she enjoys sharing about her experiences in living with a disability in order to teach others and encourage acceptance and full lives for individuals who have disabilities.
