September is Concussion Awareness Month and Concussion Awareness Day is September 18th

Description:

Did you know? Concussions are the most common type of brain injury and if you are under the age of 35, you’re the most likely group to sustain a concussion. In an effort to spread awareness about concussion, change common misconceptions, and share prevention methods, we must first educate the public to know the signs.
Everyone, everywhere is invited to join the campaign to:
  • Educate people about concussion signs and recovery.
  • Support people who have sustained a concussion.
  • Change common misconceptions about concussion.
