Proactive Concussion Recovery Toolkit (2014) (ACHIEVES Project- George Mason University)


ACHIEVES offers this resource to school systems to help make sure that individuals who provide educational support to children have a good understanding of the challenges that may surface after a concussion is diagnosed and of the steps needed to help these students ACHIEVE a successful recovery. This toolkit highlights the vital roles and responsibilities of each stakeholder within a school, household, and athletic/recreation program when assisting in the prevention, recognition, and management of a student’s concussion.
