Professional Learning Series on High Leverage Practices (HLPs), Virtual Virginia & VDOE TTAC at GMU
Description:
Each self-paced professional learning session is offered at no cost to Virginia public school educators and provides 3-5 hours of professional learning. These sessions guide educators in learning about specific HLPs through videos that model exemplar teacher behaviors.
Educators may enroll in any of the following professional learning sessions described below:
- Enroll in School Leaders, Administrators, and Instructional Coaches: Strategies for Teacher Retention & Support
- Enroll in Setting the Stage for Learning: Consistent, Organized, and Respectful Learning Environments (HLP 7) - currently not available in catalog - it will be updated as soon as it is available
- Enroll in Collaboration 101 (HLP 1)
- Enroll in Explicit Instruction and Positive, Constructive Feedback that Motivates (HLP 16, HLP 8 & 22)
- Enroll in Active Engagement Strategies (HLP 18)
- Enroll in Differentiate with Flexible Grouping (HLP 17)
- Enroll in Using Multiple Data Sources to Develop A Comprehensive Learner Profile (HLP 4)
- Enroll in Self-Paced Professional Learning - SDI: Self-Regulated Strategy Development (SRSD): An Inclusive Meta-Cognitive Strategy for Solving Equations (HLP 14)
